zipfile: bzip2/LZMA/Zstandard members decompress without a max_length bound, defeating chunked-read memory limits
When decompressing crafted zip files using the bzip/LZMA/Zstandard compressions, Python could use an attacker-controlled size to pre-allocate memory, possibly resulting in memory exhaustion.

Super-linear CPU usage for unbounded input to csv.Sniffer.sniff()
Attacker-controlled CSV samples can trigger super-linear regular-expression work during dialect sniffing and consume significant CPU when applications pass unbounded input to csv.Sniffer.sniff().

Quadratic Behavior in xml.etree.ElementPath Index Predicates
`Element.findall()` and fully-consumed `Element.iterfind()` exhibit `O(n^2)` time complexity when using XPath index predicates (e.g. `[1]`, `[last()]`, `[last()-N]`) on XML documents with many same-tag siblings. `Element.find()` is only affected when the firs…

Tarfile.extract() doesn't fully respect filter parameter
In the Tarfile.extract() function, the filter parameter is not passed properly when extracting hardlinks. An affected system that extracts content from untrusted tar files could end up writing files with an unexpected uid/gid despite the user passing filter='…

BaseCookie.js_output() does not neutralize embedded characters
http.cookies.Morsel.js_output() returns an inline <script> snippet and only escapes " for JavaScript string context. It does not neutralize the HTML parser-sensitive sequence </script> inside the generated script element. Mitigation base64-encodes the cookie …

tarfile: Skip DIRTYPE normalization during GNU LONGNAME/LONGLINK handling
The "tarfile" module would still apply normalization of AREGTYPE (\x00) blocks to DIRTYPE, even while processing a multi-block member such as GNUTYPE_LONGNAME or GNUTYPE_LONGLINK. This could result in a crafted tar archive being misinterpreted by the tarfile …

Out-of-memory when loading Plist
When loading a plist file, the plistlib module reads data in size specified by the file itself, meaning a malicious file can cause OOM and DoS issues

Quadratic complexity in os.path.expandvars() with user-controlled template
If the value passed to os.path.expandvars() is user-controlled a performance degradation is possible when expanding environment variables.
